David G. Diaz, MD FACOG

Dr. Diaz is the founder and medical director of Frozen Egg Bank, Inc. He is part of an elite group of board-certified OB/GYN in the U.S. who are specialized in treatments and procedures related to Infertility. He spearheads the advancing science behind egg freezing and thawing.

 

Dr. David Diaz attended Loyola University School of Medicine in Chicago, Illinois and the University of Missouri where he completed his residency training. He continued his advanced training in endocrinology and infertility as a clinical fellow at Beth Israel Hospital, Harvard Medical School in Boston, Massachusetts. Dr. Diaz is also Medical Director of West Coast Fertility Center in Orange County, California.

He is a frequent guest lecturer, serves as a consulting medical expert for local and national TV and print publications, and is seated on the EMD Serono Advisory Board. Dr. Diaz is a fellow member of the American College of Obstetricians and Gynecologists and member to the American Society for Reproductive Medicine and Society for Assisted Reproductive Technologies (SART).

Antoine has over 18 years of clinical embryology experience. As a scientist and researcher, he has pioneered the development of culture medium allowing for the successful freezing and thawing of human eggs. He has 16 abstracts and publications related to Egg Freezing. Antoine received a Bachelor of Science degree in Biochemistry from the University of California, Irvine. He is a member of the American Board of Bioanalysis (TS, ELD), the American Society Reproductive Medicine, and the Society for the Study of Reproduction.

Cristina Rodriguez-Karl, BA
Senior Embryologist

Cris Rodriguez-Karl earned her Bachelor's Degree from the California State University, Fullerton in Biological Sciences. She has over 16 years experience in embryology, andrology, and Assisted Reproductive Technology lab techniques. Cris joined this laboratory to embark on furthering a better understanding of fertility preservation in 1998.

Maria Ruiz has over 19 years experience in the medical field including clinical patient care specializing in OB/GYN nursing.
